1. Swallow's Nest

Sintra is a treasure of Portugal


 At 27 km from Lisbon is a small town Sintra, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The former Moorish sanctuary was chosen by monastic and knightly orders, and then turned into a royal residence. Nowadays it is necessary to allocate at least two days for the inspection of this city.
