Crimea is not only a point rich in historical events on the map. 1. Swallow's Nest

This formidable looking Gothic castle, located on the very cliff, was in fact built not in the era of the gloomy Middle Ages, but only a century ago - in 1912. Such a layout was ordered by the German industrialist, baron von Stengel, who wished his "dacha" to remind him of his homeland in a way.

Thermal springs in Russia

 Vilyuchinsky hot springs, Kamchatka

In the south of the peninsula there are mineral thermal springs. They appeared there due to the fact that they are located near the Viluchinsky volcano. In general, it is worth noting that Kamchatka is called the "Land of Ice and Fire" for a reason - the volcanoes here are in perfect contrast with the cool air.

The Grand Canyon of Crimea, Crimea, Russia

For those connoisseurs of nature who have visited the Grand Canyon of Crimea for the first time, this grandiose, forested gorge with deep baths, invigorating waterfalls, clear springs and clumps of rocks remains a favorite for life. The desire to return here will never leave.
Visitors to the Grand Canyon are ready to scream with delight, but they keep quiet, and not only because of fatigue on the rare steep ascents here. Many feel that nature herself imperiously demands silence. And then they remember how this delicate silence allowed everyone to take their time, alone with themselves, to their impressions. Silence here is so relevant that it is like the best music in the world, I want to record it on a tape recorder.

Ayu-Dag, Crimea, Russia

Ayu-Dag - Bear Mountain

Mount Ayu-Dag, or as it is customary to call it Bear Mountain in the Crimea, its "bearish" form due to geological origin - this is a failed volcano
Or, as scientists say, a kind of diapiric intrusion. The magma, which was screeching beneath the earth's crust, was preparing to erupt, but it did not have enough pressure, it only rose with the surface rocks - and froze with a mass of quartz dolerites and greenish-gray, very solid, valuable for the construction of gabbro-diabase. But tourists prefer another version of the origin of this natural monument - Bear Mountain legend.

What is Ai-Petri? It is difficult to answer this question with one or two sentences, it is even more
difficult to describe the multifaceted nature of this mountain massif,
Where each tract is both surprising and delightful. Catch with climbers and climbers, tourists and excursionists, cave explorers and skiers, foresters and meteorologists, mushroom pickers and forest fruit lovers - everyone will tell about their own, but even these fragments combined will not give you an idea of Ai-Petri until you visit it. Ai-Petri is not the highest mountain of the Crimea, but it seems that God knows what a huge, because everything is in front of you. It is a mountain-castle, - a magical, sky-high castle. With ruined towers, with steep wall breaks, with prongs that have been eaten by time, a castle worthy of Byron's Manfred.
