Near Cherepovets, the Russian Federation, the Cherepovets marshes, known as the anomalous zone, are located. For many years, experts have tried to find out why people who fell into the zone of influence of the marshes either went crazy or committed suicide. But according to legend, there lives a dark spirit that destroys human lives ...
Short description
Mysterious place is almost a thousand years old. The depth of the marshes does not reach 5 meters. In the central part of the anomalous zone there are 2 lakes: Ivanchevskoe and Desert.
The surface of the swamp is completely covered with dense moss, but in some places it is torn by the pressure of mud rising from the bottom. Such "gaps" are called "hindrances." Cherepovets marshes do not cause bad thoughts, but they have bad glory. In Cherepovets district, suicides and severe mental disorders are fixed 4 times more often than in other nearby districts of Russia.
From the teacher's diary
Legends, myths and legends are often based on real events. The same applies to the Cherepovets marshes. This area terrified people who lived at the beginning of the XIX century. Confirmation of this fact is the diary of a certain teacher who lived several kilometers from the Cherepovets marshes. In the records found in a thick notebook, it is a mysterious evil spirit, which is literally sucked into the human brain and subordinates all the thoughts, desires and actions of the "victim". An example of this was the father of the diary's owner.
The teacher wrote that the spirit of the swamp had a detrimental effect on the parent, even when he was away from the horrific terrain. It turned out that the father of the author of the records went crazy, but even before losing his mind, he persuaded his son to leave his native town immediately. The man left to study in another settlement, but after graduation he returned to his native land. He was not afraid of the spirit of the swamp, for he knew that he was settling into a man for life, and moving would not help save himself from this evil spirits. Also, the owner of the diary wrote that for the entire time of the existence of the marshes in their vicinity, neither mushrooms nor berries have ever grown. Birds also preferred not to appear here.
Pavel Gryaznov
Near the Cherepovets lived the doctor Pavel Gryaznov. He also left some personal records dated 1879. Once Paul recognized the terrible story of a merchant who was connected with the Cherepovets marshes. It turned out that this merchant suddenly decided to immediately flee Cherepovets, and as far as possible. Such an extravagant act was explained by the fact that the hero of history kept pushing a certain force to the edge of the swamp. The merchant was even going to drown himself, but at the last moment the instinct of self-preservation awoke in him. The man left all his goods (and there were many) and fled from the ruinous terrain. Later, the merchant shared his memories of the mountains thrown by merchants from the marshes. It turned out that they all stepped unauthorizedly into a viscous abyss and perished ... People who heard such a story did not believe the narrator, although the marshes actually had physical evidence of the tragedy. In addition, near the abandoned valuable things one could see even chains of tracks leading into the abyss. When the carts with the goods began to rot from time, some brave men decided to get closer to the mysterious zone. But they were suddenly seized with an inexplicable horror, and a group of people began to flee.
Once Pavel Gryaznov decided to take peat samples from the Cherepovets marshes. He managed to do this, but after a few days the doctor started an unbearable headache. In addition, the man was overcome by a severe depression. When peat was sent for analysis in St. Petersburg, the researchers were shocked that it revealed traces of highly organized life.
Leave or die
Sergei Perfiliev, a resident of Cherepovets, in 1905 described personal observations related to the terrible marshes. It turns out that the escape from the evil spirit could only be a move, and that is not always the case. People living near the Cherepovets marshes were battled not only by mental disorders, but also by alcoholism, hallucinations and submission to inexplicable forces. Also in 1911, near the anomalous place, there was a terrible story with the son of a shoemaker. The young man went out to the pier near the marshes, collapsed on a pavement paved with stone and started to fight against the stones with his head. As a result, the demented person was hit by a skull, and he died of a serious injury.
Vasily Vereshchagin, a famous artist who was born and grew up in Cherepovets, also experienced horror from marshes. When the man approached them, he suddenly started nausea, dizziness and sound hallucinations.
Although the landscapes of the Cherepovets bogs are impressively beautiful and even fabulous ...
Study
Recently, scientists have studied the anomaly of the Cherepovets marshes. Yuri Perovski, Ph.D., assumes that the rotting organic material covering the bottom of the marshes produces hallucinogenic compounds whose vapors are inhaled by humans. Emoto Masaru, a Japanese professor, is sure that water can be charged with both positive and negative energy, and this radically changes its structure.
The scientist suggests that the Cherepovets marshes accumulated bad energy from people for centuries, and now they give it back. The study of the anomalous terrain continues to this day, so scientists do not yet have a clearly formulated result of the study. Perhaps to find out the cause of the devastating impact of the Cherepovets marshes on a person will take more than one year ...
